Babywearing: In my Book

I know I've celebrated {lamented} how E no longer has no residual babyness emerging from his two-year-old self.

But, that doesn't stop us from slinging him way up high our backs, enjoying every day that he's still able to be slung.

In my book, babywearing isn't just for babies anyway.

It's just as much for toddlers who could take on an entire apple orchard if they wanted to ... but who know the view is way better from up here.

    I never had slings for them as they got older, I always used a backpack and took them everywhere. It is amazing how much nicer it is to keep those little fingers out of the things they don't need! As my girls got older, my husband would put them in the backpack and they would "help" daddy cook. It was their favorite bonding time.

    So true! I love babywearing! And it's pretty much the only way I can get dinner made without having my one year old clinging to my legs and screaming bloody murder the whole time!
